New Career Resource: Oil and Gas Careers website

OPITO’s new careers website www.myoilandgascareer.com has arrived. The site is a one-stop-shop for information on careers within the oil and gas industry.

myoilandgascareer.com is aimed at anyone looking to find out more about entry routes into the sector and details the breadth of careers available. As well as providing information on training and development; the site offers a range of education tools suitable for primary and secondary school students. There is also an ‘ask a professional’ page which allows you to post a question to be answered by an industry representative and filmed case studies give users a fantastic insight into the industry.

Update: National Careers Week 2012

National Careers Week 2012 is taking place from 5 - 9 March 2012. To get involved all you need to do is register at nationalcareersweek.com. You could run a careers activity or event, invite local employers in to speak to students or attend the National Career Guidance Show.
