students to get an insight into Chartered Accountancy.

BASE is designed to
enhance students’
understanding
of business and finance and help develop employability
skills that are crucial to succeed. They also get a
unique opportunity to network with professionals from
local and national accountancy firms and businesses.
In
teams of six, students in year’s 12 and 13 take
on the role of an ICAEW Chartered Accountant and work
through a business challenge, in a bid to win one of
the regional heats, and qualify for a place at our
national final
on 28 June 2012.
