Careersbox has been short listed, from over 140 entries in 35 countries, as one of only 9 finalists for this year’s prestigious Medea Awards 2010.

The MEDEA AwardsThe MEDEA Awards are the kite mark in this arena and advocate recognising, encouraging and rewarding excellence and creativity in media in education. The 'Level 7: Interview Technique' films project is helping thousands of young people in the UK and now across Europe to prepare for the world of work. The partnership with BT has enabled Careersbox to offer this resource to all UK educational establishments and careers practitioners through the FREE and open access www.careersbox.co.uk.

Careersbox will be travelling in November to Brussels for the 2 day event on 25th & 26th Nov, supported by the Lifelong Learning Programme of the European Union. They have been asked to present their work and outcomes from the project, which benefit students and education. Particular praise has been added for the pedagogical processes used within the project. Level 7 is a success story of ‘Joined Up Thinking’.

With an ethos of free delivery to end users, Careersbox has shaped and influenced the CIAG market in the UK, becoming synonymous with blurring the boundary between information and entertainment.

LEVEL 7 was an opportunity for Careersbox to become architects of the imagination whilst delivering some very useful media which has been extremely successful in schools throughout the UK.
