CareersBuzz - the mobile careers centre
CareersBuzz has been set up as a Community Interest Company (CIC) by Professor Rachel Mulvey (University of East London) and Nick Newman (Founder of Careersinfo Group).
CareersBuzz is an inspirational mobile learning centre with a contemporary seating area and a full projection facility. It is an ex-Library Bus that has been refitted to deliver world of work learning to audiences of up to 15 at a time.
Initially designed to support the CEIAG agenda of secondary schools, academies and 6th forms, we are finding that CareersBuzz is well suited to working with those students who need IAG the most.
Schools will now be judged more on their destination outcomes than the level of CEIAG they are providing – this is where CareersBuzz can make a big difference; by focusing on a potential NEETs audience we are able to provide high impact learning with positive outcomes for students and schools.
